1. Lift the bait cover.

2. Add peanut butter or another high profile bait to the trough (use a Q-tip or tooth pick to avoid leaving your scent).

3. Close the bait cover.

4. Lift the red handle on the kill bar until it clicks into place.

5. Place the end of the trap with the bait cover/trough flush against the wall.

6. Dispose of the dead rodent--and the trap, too, if you prefer!
